Silent Hill: Townfall launched on September 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, Konami announced in a release issued from Windsor, UK, that day. The publisher identifies Screen Burn Interactive as the developer and Annapurna Interactive as a co-publisher. Its launch announcement does not list an Xbox version.

The game is a standalone entry in the psychological horror series, set on the fictional Scottish island of St. Amelia. Players follow Simon Ordell after he arrives at its fogbound marina. Konami describes Townfall as the series’ first full-length game presented entirely from a first-person perspective. The announced play includes exploration, puzzles, hiding from threats and combat.

What was confirmed at launch

Konami’s September 24 statement is a release announcement, not a new date reveal. The date and platforms had been public before launch. The new development is that the game is available on the specified stores and console.

The publisher also linked a new launch trailer from its official Silent Hill YouTube channel. We have a separate official trailer page with the upload date and a player that loads only when requested.

For readers who have not followed the series, the announced premise does not require treating every earlier Silent Hill setting as part of St. Amelia’s history. Konami calls this a standalone entry. Details of the island’s story should come from the game and its creators, rather than assumptions made from trailer imagery.

This report is based on Konami’s launch statement and store information. It does not assess the finished game’s quality or claim firsthand play time.
